The wealthy Venetian families of the late XIX century enjoyed renewing their palaces - interiors, frescoes, plaster-works, paintings – according to the latest trends, and the Suite «Venezia» is quintessentially Venetian and Art Nouveau inspired. Composed of a bed-suite and a petit salon, each space is dominated by a different set of coffered ceilings, richly adorned with gilded carved moldings - a watercolor Verditter blue base for the salon; a deep Persian blue as a virtual sky for the bed-suite. An almost floor-to-ceiling leaded glass door, the cabinetry, and a unique marble 'terrazzo' floor boldly define the space. The magnificent medley of color nuances, the gilded decorations of the queen size bed, the upholstery fabrics, an ever-present shimmer from the white architecture of the building out the windows, every detail contributes creating an apt metaphor for the whole place: history, refracted through a romantic, joyful lens, in tune with a laid-back notion of luxury of a Venetian nobility’s holiday palazzo in Rome.

The Prestige Deluxe Matilde di Canossa is a real gem for connoisseurs, a sensorial experience of immersion into another time. Located on the east corner of the Canossa building’s étage noble, the integrity of the original frescoes has been preserved and restored. Executed by Venetian artists in 1905, by appointment of the Canossa family, of Venetian nobility, whom at the time owned the entire building as a holiday palazzo in Rome, the frescoes and wooden paintings define the four walls, infusing the light with a Canaletto color palette. The «voice» of the original herringbone parquet floor - lifted, disassembled, restored, and replaced - adds a unique touch to the acoustic atmosphere. An original painted glass door leads to a balcony overlooking the charming Via della Penna. The bath suite, hidden behind a secret door, is dated from 1905 as well. Covered in original Sienese marble - with a desaturated saffron color dominance - the bathroom has a rich historical character. The bathtub is nothing less than an original, immensely heavy, formed from a single piece of craquelée China.

Original wooden floors complete the eye-catching visual. The wide musk-color all-marble bathroom with Venetian floor features twin vanities, a shower, and a freestanding crowfoot bathtub.

These bright and spacious rooms with Veneziana style floors have a private balcony overlooking Piazza del Popolo domes, a seating area with sofa and a queen size bed.
